Friendship Meet Up

We are planning to meet up at Basecamp Bar & Grill after a day of hiking in the national park for a bit of friendship, beers and snacks. We are not making reservations, so this is more of a meeting spot than a formal dinner - so feel free to come and go as you please! And don't forget your wallet - as drinks & food are not provided by camp ;)

one... two... three... GO!

On Friday morning, we will split up all campers into teams and let the teams battle it out for the coveted best camper awards! To win the battle of the campers, you may want to start practicing your egg toss finesse, your three legged race rhythm, and your flip cup precision. This is the ultimate camp show down, so be sure to bring your A Game

Namaste

Starting the big day in our favorite way, with a little bit of love, light and stretching. Join us for a bit of yoga lead by our Camp Counselors Kelsey & Alyssa. Bring a towel and find a nice bit of lawn and get yourself in the right headspace for a day filled with love <3

Ceremony

The Ceremony will take place on the Copper Creek Cabins property around 4:30pm.

Dinner & Drinks

Dinner, Drinks & Dancing will follow the ceremony on the copper creeks property! There is no "end time" for the event!

Attire

Washington Wedding Attire

We will be getting married in the woods on the Copper Creek property. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in, but we are going for a casual-dressy vibe. There is a path to the ceremony location, but it's more like a dirt & gravel path than anything - so sharp heals may not be preferred (but you do you!) The ceremony & reception will take place outside - please plan to have layers as it can drop into the high 40s at night time! p.s. this is a rain or shine event - so do check the weather and pack a rain coat if needed!

Parking

If you are not staying on the Copper Creek Cabin property, there will be plenty of parking, please park where convenient!

Land Acknowledgement

Native Lands of the Nisqually Tribe

Jimmy & Chelsie would like to acknowledge that their wedding will be taking place on the Indigenous lands of the Nisqually Tribe, now called Ashford, Washington.

We hate to see you go, but love to watch you leave. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Event Description

We are hoping to have a drop-in style picnic reception with beer, wine and bites. Please stop at any point during the event timeframe (1-5pm)  to say hi, play a game or two and have a drink on us!

Attire

Columbus Reception Attire

We are hoping for an easy picnic dress-wear for this event, please be as comfortable as you'd like. Think sundresses and jeans/khakis and a sweater - or whatever your particular equivalent to that is! This will be indoor-outdoor if the weather allows, so do have a coat/layers available if you would like to enjoy the outdoors!

Parking

There is a parking lot on site for the park - all parking in this lot is free.

Land Acknowledgment

Native Lands of the Kaskaskia

Jimmy & Chelsie would like to acknowledge that their home neighborhood of Grandview in Columbus, Ohio is on the Indigenous lands of the Kaskaskia. The Kaskaskia now reside in Oklahoma as part of the The Peoria Tribe of Indians.

The Peoria Tribe of Indians.of Oklahoma is a confederation of Kaskaskia, Peoria, Piankashaw and Wea Indians united into a single tribe in 1854. The tribes which constitute The Confederated Peorias, as they then were called, originated in the lands bordering the Great Lakes and drained by the mighty Mississippi. They are Illinois or Illini Indians, descendants of those who created the great mound civilizations in the central United States two thousand to three thousand years ago.
